What’s your favorite exercise?
Trail running. The more hills and mud, the better! I'm constantly running different trails and they each have their own challenges to overcome. The variety and tranquility of trails keeps me coming back for more.

What’s your least favorite exercise?
Overhead tricep extensions. I never feel like I'm doing anything since it focuses on isolating such a small muscle. Push-ups are a much better option and a whole lot more fun!

What does your personal fitness regimen look like?
I'm constantly training for some sort of endurance race, so my schedule is very full. Typically I'll run five days a week, bike three days, swim three days and do two-three days of resistance training. Fitting all of these things into a seven-day week is hard, but it gives me structure and forces me to stay focused.

How do you fit a workout into a crazy day?
When I know my day is going to be really crazy, I'll wake up early to bike before a full day at work. I could tell you exactly what's on TV at 3:30 a.m.! It's much easier for me to do my workout in the morning rather than stay up late to fit it in.

What’s the best part of being a personal trainer?
Helping people feel better, both physically and mentally. You have a connection with every person you train and you want them to reach their goals so badly. I love the fact that I can help people do things that they never thought they would be able to do. Their feeling of empowerment is palpable and I thrive on it.

What’s the best part of being a Kris Wade Personal Fitness Expert?
I'm constantly learning from everyone! All of the trainers are incredibly knowledgable and they are always willing to lend a hand. Kris is a phenomenal teacher and I know I can throw any question at her and she'll come back with numerous answers. The atmoshphere is very positive and everyone is willing to give their absolute best all of the time.
